KATAKLO’ – Athletic Dance Theatre Giulia Staccioli e SEASONS

While waiting for the new production that will celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary in 2026, Giulia Staccioli – the creative and visionary soul of Kataklò Athletic Dance Theatre – offers us a glimpse of her inexhaustible artistry with SEASONS – Beyond the Seasons.

Under Staccioli’s artistic direction, Seasons was conceived in 2024 at the request of maestros Gianna Fratta and Dino De Palma as an ambitious and evocative performance. At the heart of the show lies Giulia Staccioli’s innovative vision: her ability to blend tradition and modernity finds full expression in Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons, reimagined by contemporary composer Max Richter.

Richter’s harmonies – merging classical and modern sounds – intertwine with evocative natural soundscapes to create a truly unique atmosphere. Upon this sound canvas, Staccioli paints a visual story that enhances the expressive power of the six Kataklò dancers.
